A life lived through design.

Design has been in my blood since I was a kid, watching my uncle work as a well-known interior designer in Sydney. After a detour through music school — turns out I was far too shy to perform — and a stint in corporate life, my real design journey began when I styled a friend's house for sale. I was instantly hooked.

I hit the books, studied design, and eventually backed myself with a small budget and an absolute mountain of hustle. No safety net, just conviction that beautiful rooms sell houses.

For 14 years I rode a rocket ship through Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, growing from a tiny garage to a massive warehouse with staff. I loved every second of curating pretty spaces.

Life loves a plot twist. After a divorce following 23 years of marriage, I sold the business and moved to the Gold Coast to be near my parents with my tween daughter. Family is my absolute everything.

After a year off to breathe and settle into coastal life, I was itching to get my hands back on beautiful furniture — and it led to a beautiful course correction.

I am officially back at the helm as the sole owner of Piece of Cake Interiors. Crystal clear: 100% independent, with absolutely no affiliation to any other property styling company. Breaking into the Goldie market is a tough nut to crack, but I'm making steps every single day.
